COCOA POTABLE WATER SYSTEM
A small community with a modest population, the City of Cocoa has had the benefit of smart planning, political leadership and excellent management. As a result, some of the issues that other communities struggle with, for example water supply, are secure. The City of Cocoa is able to deliver a quality product to a variety of commercial, municipal and residential connections while protecting the environment.
The City of Cocoa has been providing water for its residents and businesses for more than 80 years. We’ve been providing water regionally for more than 50 years. We have provided a quality product with reliability. We pride ourselves on the smart management of resources including water, facilities and finances.
To effectively do that, we plan ahead.
Doing so ensures that we can deliver the water to our customers; to the homes and businesses, cities, communities and military installations that have depended on us for many years.
The City supplies more than 18.7 million gallons a day (mgd) of drinking water to approximately 90,000 connections in central Brevard County. The City of Cocoa continues to be committed to protecting water resources while ensuring that customer demand is met and the environment is preserved.
